Doing the Work to Get Over Fear of Flying
Submitted by Diane Owens on Tue, 2007-07-03 19:48.I turned on the Oprah show today just in time to see Oprah's fitness guru Bob Greene appearing on the stage with six overweight people. They were discussing exercise, and Bob Greene observed that some of them didn't appear to be very motivated while working out. They agreed. Then he said, "If you want to lose weight, you have to be willing to do the work." Oprah then added that she hates every minute of "doing the work" while exercising, but she's happy once it's over and feels so much better.

Before takeoff, a male SW Airlines employee called her to the front of the plane to ask her to change her inappropriate clothing, saying that Southwest is a "family airline."

Recently on the Today show, he told Matt Mauer that a traveler is two times as likely today to lose their luggage when flying than they were two years ago. Consider those odds.
