"Just to let you know that since receiving my Fearless Flight kit, I have been on 5 flights! The first one was from Athens to Milan (2h) where I managed to be fairly relaxed (I had listened to the CD and read all the material a couple of days before my trip). The "fasten your seatbelt lights" were on throughout the flight which gave me some anxiety, as I've never seen this happen before. I guess they forgot to turn it off! There were many clouds at our high altitude, so perhaps that was the reason, but we only had turbulence for 5 mins or so during the flight.  During that time I played the CD which eased my anxiety very quickly.During my return flight I was even calmer.

I listened to the CD two times more before the return flight. For the first time in my life I went to the airport with no anxiety at all! I enjoyed shopping at the duty-free and relaxed waiting to board the plane, even though there was a 40 min. delay. In the past, whenever there was a delay, I kept thinking that something had gone wrong and that that was why there was a delay! I got a very mild fear of flight during the flight, so I put on the CD and relaxed again. There was no turbulence this time.

My third trip was from Athens to Geneva (this flight was a bit longer, about 2 hr 40 min). Again, I had listened to the CD a couple of times before my trip at home before falling asleep at night. This time I had almost no fear. Halfway through the flight we experienced turbulence which lasted almost 20 mins. and was significant. When the "fasten your seatbelt sign" switched on, I got a rush of anxiety, which was decreased when the pilot explained that this will last for 10-20 mins. and it's due to changing winds in this area.  The pilot said he would modify our course slightly so that we will get out of this area as soon as possible based on reports from other planes that passed through that point. Wow, having the pilot give us all this info relaxed me! Then, I thought of putting on the CD to relax further, but I actually didn't when I remembered what I'd heard on the CD, that turbulence has never caused a plane to crash! Once I remembered this, I totally relaxed and didn't need to put on the CD!
